Comin’ atcha from my latest satellite office at the Emirates Airlines Biz Lounge at Dubai airport, where I’m awaiting the flight to Singapore and the Eastern & Oriental Express train. Hepped up on Italian coffee after some of the best Middle Eastern food I’ve ever had.
And the most fun I’ve ever had on an eight-hour layover.
Creamiest hummus, and prawns with yummy raisins and cashews that I just had to drown in yogurt …
… and dainty little pastries with killer calorie counts.
Had a manicure at the business lounge spa. Nothing fancy; just wanted to get my nails, such as they are, in better shape for the train trip.
I’m told Paris Hilton stops by for the same pampering in the nearby First Class Lounge spa when she’s in the neighborhood. (Apparently there’s not all that much difference between First and Business Class.)
Gotta run. Have that plane to Singapore to catch.
When I return: My journey from New York to Dubai; and another Hollywood connection at Dubai airport.
