Let’s Paws: Hotel hostess who just might sleep with you

Meet Mai, mascot of the Florida House Inn in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

She’s a rescue dog that’s a combo of beagle and Bluetick Coonhound. Named after Isle de Mai, the original name for Amelia Island, coined by a French explorer who visited in 1562.

Mai’s a natural at her job. She’s more than happy to demonstrate just how comfy the beds are.

And her owners allow her to take strolls with guests. She’ll even sleep with you — if her parents approve.
