Geeveston, Tasmania: Naturally high

An approach to a bridge …That extends high above this river:

Shades of Alaska; but the part of Alaska I’ve seen — the area around Ketchikan — didn’t have a giant eucalyptus forest. This is the Tahune AirWalk, about an hour from Hobart.

Reaching the end is a real high. And a swinging time: that part of the bridge sways.

Now that’s a hike.

Bottled at the source: After not drinking the water in India, and always drinking treated water at home, I jumped at the chance to quench my thirst with some river water. Hey, the nice forest guide said it was fine. Tasted good, and no ill effects — well, not yet, anyway.
